If you think oil changes are easy without one, you'll cut time down even more with a drain valve. No danger of hitting anything (exept rock crawlers) because of how the pan tucks up under the cover.
??? For what? I do not see anything you've written which requires an apology.cmb said:"sorry"

After having to remove the skid plate on both my '90 and '00 4Runners to get to the oil filter and THEN have to deal with capturing the oil that ran down the block before it got to the crossmember and other places, the oil change on my '08 is comparatively a piece of cake.

snowjay said:There is a plastic oval access panel on the skid plate covering the drain plug. Pop it off with a screwdriver and you can't miss the plug.
