I'll claim responsibility for the confusion. I incorrectly typed FL instead of CA. I actually had no idea what state the MCAS Miramar was in so I started typing it into google which did it's usual crap of making suggestions, the first of which was Miramar FL. I partly blame google for not correctly reading my mind and seeing that I was attempting some Top Gun humor.
