So I'm pretty new to this forum, but have started quite a few threads and want to thank all the people who have responded. It is really cool to get on here and get good honest answers and feedback!!

So I just got my front two windows tinted at 20%, got my BFG A/T KO's put on, and I ordered new factory wheels to go on which will be put on tomorrow. Dealership where I bought the Runner went down on price since the original wheels were in such bad shape. Weathertech rain guards and floor mats on the way. I'll put up pics once everything is on. Its amazing how much those tires make the car!!

I did have a question about the tint though, in some spots it looks like the front two windows are darker than the rear factory smoked windows. I want it to match as best as possible, but if anything I would rather the back be darker than the front. Should I get tint put on the rear windows now as well so the front windows aren't darker, and if so what percentage?

I wouldnt!

TO be honest, I wouldnt go that dark to begin with. Cops here in Mass will pull your ass over if your tint is too dark. Just last week I brought my new-to-me '08 4Runner to a Toyota Dealer to get my inspection sticker, and they FAILED ME!!! All because of the tint. They have a specific tool that measures the darkness of the tint, mine was a tad darker than the rear smoked glass, and i bombed.

The dealership paid for them to be stripped and re-tinted, but i was pissed.

If i were you, id have the smoked glass rear windows measured for tint-darkness and have them match it.

Having super-dark front and lame rears would look stupid, IMO.
