New (13 year old) 1998 4Runner

Hey yall. About to join the 4Runner family. It's a 1998 with a little over 150K miles on it. A little cosmetic damage on the passenger side but otherwise in great shape. Got it for a great price and cant wait to start driving it around!

Will do, should have inside a week at this point, just waiting on paperwork. If this sounds weird... But I'm actually a little excited to get some work done on it.

Congrats on your find...I bought a "new" 98 4Runner back in February of this year myself! Had about 160k miles on it, and it's been great so far. Be sure to post up when you get pics. Also--if you don't know the service history on it, you may want to consider replacing the timing belt...mine was due for it so it was top of my list!

Yeah, Im looking in to what itll cost to get a timing belt put on. Do you recommend getting a the parts on my own and just finding a shop that will put it on or just go with whatever the shop has?
