'New' 1991 4Runner, couple questions.

Hey, so I'm personally new to the 4Runner community, but my dad has been a Toyota Fanboy his whole life, so it was somewhat ingrained into me.
And so I bought my first vehicle... and it happens to be a 914Runner, almost like what my dad used to own.

Ive got a couple random questions about some things..

Firstly, it came with tires that are different size that the panel on the inside of the door says are stock. Im not sure if i should go back to stock or keep the current size.
And also what effect this choice might have on offroading..
I know ill get better mileage if i go to the slightly smaller original tire size.

And I also see what appears to be aftermarket air bag shocks in the rear, with a valve out the bottom of the back bumper i'd use to fill it.
Any ideas on what PSI i should put into those?

Your tire size will probably throw off the speedo (are those 31") aside from spending money on getting your vss recalibrated you can buy a GPS that shows what speed your going.
It might affect mileage a bit but not a lot
Your gonna want larger tires for offroading anyway.
I would go even bigger if I had a lift go to 33s which is a standard way of going.
Try the BFG Mud terrains, I have them and love em. The all terrains are good too, but the mud terrains cut through any shit I've got into.
As for the suspension, blow it all the way up than drop it 5 psi. That'd probably do it,

I haven't checked in a while so it's a late reply but better late than never I suppose.

It's good to see someone from near my area, it doesn't happen too often so had to say hey. Congrats on the truck!

Don't go smaller with your tire, especially if you're thinking off road. You'll want to go bigger, even if for the sakes of not making your truck look goofy.

On a side note, there's another member here (YotaConvert-he's in Edmonton) and I have done an offroad trip in the winter, and plan one again in the fall more towards my area. If you're game it's always good to have people in the area to wheel with.
