Hello there. My my name is Andrew and I just recently purchased a 2000 4runner 4x4, 4 cyl, Manual Trans.

I'm excited bout it. I just recently purchase some 24" wheels with 305/35/24 tires and I'm hoping and praying i don't need to do some extreme modification to fit them. I'm not entirely new to the whole truck/suv scene. I used to own a 91' regular cab toyota truck that I had lifted 4" IFS lift and 3" body lift as well as bout 2" torsion lift and a 2.5 shackle lift. Anyway, earlier i was debating whether i wanted to got with the lifted off-road style or the street DUB fashion. I decided obviosly to go the with the street look. I will be posting some pics as soon as my 24s arrives. Thanks and ideas and pointers would much be appreciated.

24's? Wow, those will be large...... How much will your tires run? I know from experience buying tires for a 17" rim vs a 15" rim is quite pricey. I can't imagine the 24's. Nice truck, and welcome to the forums.

I can't imagine the ride quality. Hopefully, it gets showed alot and not driven. :)

Finally got my 22" rims in. Problem is the center caps was missing and so replacements are on the way.

Finally installed my Rockford Fosgate T1500 1bd 1500w amp and my single RF T212D4 12" power sub. Now i'm considering going dual 12s and dual T1500w amps as well as monitors and more :) This is my new hobby. I used to love building gaming PC machines.

Welcome to T4R from Texas. So you went with 22's not 24's? Looks good, but I presume you are not going to be doing any off-roading.

lol. It's just a 4cyl but it's strong enough for me. It's not like I haul, tow or roll with huge tires anyway. Plus i'm more concerned with fuel economy ;)

i'm not knocking the 4cyl. i have the same engine and i like it alot. it is a bit underpowered for a 4000 lb suv though

i tow a motorcycle trailer with a 600 cc sport bike and it does just fine, but i don't haul or roll with big tires either (although i will be adding 31" or 32" soon). i haven't had it long enough to run a full tank out of it, how is the fuel economy?

According to my ODO trip readings, I've been getting an avg of 15-16 mpg. Gas where i'm from is $3.47 /gal regular unleaded. Last year it was at one point $5.05 and mininum wage is $4.55/hr so yeah its pretty ridiculous.
