My wife and recently purchased our first T4R after countless hours of research and numerous test drives. We decided on a 2005 Sport Edition V8 4x4, with 88,000 miles (144,000 kms her up north). One owner in minty, mint shape!!!! We would have been re****ed to pass on the deal we got, ($12,950 which we thought was pretty good considering they were asking $17,000) and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.
The previous owner didn't replace the timing belt, so I figured I might as well do that, change out both the front and rear differential oils, transfer case oil, tranny fluid, engine coolant, a weepy axel seal and the water pump. I now feel totally comfortable that this thing will last me for many years and a few hundred thousand miles. Plugs will be changed the next service.
Anyways, I thought I would say hey to all. I stopped in an introduced myself on the newbie section but i figured since I wil be, and have been, on the 4th gen forum plenty, I might as well introduce myself here as well. I would love to throw some pics up, but my iPad doesn't allow me to. If someone knows how, then I would love to learn how to.
