DayStar
The 2 1/2-1 1/2" kit is good for the money and rides great.
I've had both the front level kit and that kit.
Started with the front kit and decided I wanted a little more.

Daystars stud extensions seem sketchy. Can longer replacement studs be used instead?

They actually work great.
If you're going to do hardcore off-roading then you need the good stuff like coil overs or at least bilstein.

Cornfed or grab a Toytec 3" kit for $320 (best option for the money imo)

This...I have the same truck, and the cornfed did me well for 4 years. Also had a decent resale value cleaned up. Ultimately, I wanted a bit more, so that got me by superbly until replacing the XREAS with my current icon set up. Also, my tires have been great...Toyo Open Country AT II. Many sizes to choose from. The Cornfed lift came from Burtman Industries, and was the 3/2.

I think that's an important distinction. For someone who's mostly going to be on the street with 4-8 very mild dirt road outings, they're probably fine.

If you're doing class 3+ (out of 10) trails, then something beefier is probably in order.

2.5 inch daystar kit and 32 inch- 255/75/17 bf km mud tires..

otherwise stock 05 4runner v8 with xreas.

be aware, a leveling kit is only a temporary fix for the soul, a cheap way to shove decent size tires on a stock runner. you will soon be infected with the mod bug and move on to bigger and more expensive things. My time with the daystar excuse is coming to an end and I will be plunging myself into the mod money pit head first.

But it is a great starting point lol
