Very happy with it. About 1300 miles.
21 to 21.7 MPG, 80% highway with AC on.
No issues so far. Everything works.
Fit and finish were fine.
Very comfortable to drive . Much less body roll than my LR3. The 4Runner is very reponsive. I don't see the need for a V8 for my needs. Not sure that I will keep these tires. The factory tires are more for concrete than mud.

Radio is great! I love the sound quality. The tuner pulls in stations that I can not get with the LR3. The AM band is the cleanest I have heard on a car stereo!
Not sure how ell the USB will feature will work. The auxilliary input has sufficient volume and works fine. I like the feature of being able to continously go from one chanel to the next and automatically switch bands. Nice to mix AM channels with FM.

Visiblilty is good. Smaller blind spots than with old XC90. Low wind noise with the sunroof open.

Dislikes: nothing major. I wish it had an HD radio so I can get more channels.
The rear wiper lade should swing in a wider arc. I can live with it as it does sweep more to the right rear of the window. I can get used to it. Not sure why the arc is not bigger.
Tires. I am not a fan of 20 inch wheels. Hard to get good ATR tires for 20 inch wheels. At least I can buy some 17 inch wheels if I later feel the need.

All-in-all, this is a great vehicle! If you are looking for an SUV that can really go off the road (perhaps not as far as the LR3), this is it.

So, you think the LR3 is better off-road? I am curious, especially since you have owned one in the past. Your LR3 comp, is that based on it vs your LE or are you including the TE into that as well?

Congrats man! The limited has great interior features. Can't agree more on the audio system. Radio reception is crystal clear. However I wish the pole antenna was retractable. It scratches the ceiling at the undergroud parking where I work, it really sucks.

I am not comparing the TE to the LR3, just the Limited.
The LR3 has more about an inch more ground clearance when the compressor to the air suspension is working. The suspension will lift an additional inch or so if you high center the vehicle. You can't activate this feature you are really, really high centered. Never had to do that, thank goodness. Also, the LR3 has the Terrain Response control similar to the TE, just not on the Limited. At the deer lease most of my problems are to to mud, lots of slick mud so I don't really need the extra articulation in the axles on the TE. Withe the Terrain Control on the LR3, I place it in the mud setting, tunr off the Traction Control, step on the gas and wonder how far it is back to camp if I am wrong. So far, I have never been stuck with the LR3.
The factory tires will be the limiting factor on my Limited.
I had to ditch the factory tires on the LR3 to get good off road perforamance. Replaced the LR3 tire with Good Year Silent Armor. Great traction and tread life, but the side walls are suspetable to Mesquite thorns.
I am confident that the Limited will get me everywhere I want to go. At least the Limited should be on the road and not in the shop.

HAHA to the bolded part. I love LRs (particularly defenders), but man, an unreliable truck is hard to deal with. I have the car equivalent to LRs.... VW. Drives great but always in the shop.

Glad to hear you are so happy with the 4Runner in comparison to the LR3. I dropped off my LR3 lease last week and had already ordered a Trail. Land Rover is usually last on reliability charts. Mine never had a single problem in 3 years. All of the maintenance was included; never spent a dime beyond a set of tires. That said, even with a good buyout number I'm afraid to own it out of warranty. An extended warranty to 75000 miles was going to cost 8k, which tells me they are expecting to replace lots of parts. The LR3 is a very unique vehicle that can off road with all stock vehicles yet provides an incredible level of refinement at the same time. Handling at speed is the worst attribute of the vehicle. The body lean and lack of response are horrible. I chuckle when I read people refer to the 5G 4runner as "clumsy" or "numb". It is like a sports car compared to the LR3.
