2010 Platinum Package with black on black leather interior :banana:

My story: Came from a 2006 Tacoma x-runner, loved her and still do but ran into engine problems that would have cost 10K in parts and labor for a new block. I was in the market for a 4th gen for the family and decided to trade her in while I still could and go for the 5th gen. Glad I did coz I love it :driving:

Definitely planning for mods but I'm still new to the 4runner crowd. I wanna do something bout these skinny 20s, remote start, HIDs, etc. I'm not a big fan of chrome so I'm hoping to black out all these chrome pieces as well as trade or find black headlights/tails and the TE hood with the scoop.

Since the 'Platinum Package' is not a true 'Toyota' package I was curious what your dealership added to your LE 4R to give it that name? From your pics, interior and exterior, it looks like a standard LE, I can't see any differences. I hope they did not charge you extra for that 'package'!

Congrats man. It looks like you modded the headlights on your X, I bet you can do the same to the 4Runner for a cheaper solution rather than buying TE headlights.

Hmmm....you have a LE, all of the items you listed above are standard as part of the LE. The SR5 only has the 'option' of getting the 'Premium Package', which upgrades the cloth to leather and a few other goodies listed above (which I have).

If I am not mistaken the only options that you can add/delete from a LE is the Navigation w/ the JBL System, 3rd row seat, and sliding deck, other than that the LE is pretty much fully loaded.

Yeah I painted them silver since everyone already had black. Im hoping to use either the TE lights or black eBay ones(whenever they come out) to do hid projector retrofit.

Ummm yeah thanks for clearing that up for me. I do have the nav with jbl but not the 3rd seat. Regardless I got it with a bunch of goodies and a great price brand new.
