New 2015 Trail Premium (keys)

Picked up my new 4Runner Trail Premium today, I have a question about how many remote keys are suppose to come with the new truck?
Mine came with one remote key and one regular key, seems weird it dident come with 2 remote keys��
How many remote keys did your come with?

You should have 2 remotes and one valet.

Bring a GSD back with you and straighten shit out...
 
hmm, on the daughters 2014 rav4, they only gave her 2 master keys, no valet.

only 2014 LE, I was only given 2 master fobs, no valet.

on my sons 2015 camry, they gave him 2 master keys and a grey valet and the valet was chipped.

Agree. I just bought a new 2015 Trail Edition in Feb and it came with 2 remotes and a valet key.
The dealership makes a big fuss about handing them over at least 2 sets of keys when you trade in a vehicle.
I don't think they're cheap either.
 
I went back to the Toyota Dealer yesterday and they gave me the additional remote key.
To update: 2015 T4R TP w/KDSS = 2 keys with remote and 1 gray valet key :bolt::bolt:
 
I got my 4runner over a week ago, with 2 remotes and a valet. And today I got another remote key in the mail(came from dealership), so now I have 3 remote keys + valet. Not that I am complaining. :)
 
It doesn't matter what type of 4Runner or car for that matter(Toyota anyway in this instance). Should be two remote keys and one valet.
 
Mine too, two remotes and one gray valet key. I was told during the extended warranty sales prestation that remote keys are $250 each.

My dealer freaked when I gave him four keys and three remotes with my F150 trade in. He said they are lucky to get one key and usually don't get the remotes.
 
Dealers (the shady ones) like to skimp on the second remote key. For the price of these new vehicles now days it most certainly should come with two master/remote keys. If they stick to theirs guns and make you pay for the second one, I would strongly urge you to call your local locksmith and see if they are up to speed with they new systems and get it from them, it's a long shot, but worth the call. Locksmiths don't tend to get much revenue from the new model year cars/trucks so they tend. To to get the system upgrades till a couple years have pass.

Dealer dumbasses lost/misplaced them.

Mrs. Esterhouse is probably wondering why her Avalon came with a key that doesn't open anything--her pug knows but he'll take the secret to his grave.
 
I also received two keyfobs and one valet. What's funny is I also had the same number on the RAV4 I was turning in. I didn't realize 7 years later the keyfob would look exactly the same. Twice I mixed up the keys when transferring stuff from the old vehicle to the new one.

I definitely got 2 remote keys with mine, and a valet key. I would ask them where your other couple hundred dollar key is.
 
I just picked up my '15 Trail Premium last Friday. Received two remote keys. Period.
After driving a BMW the past 5 years, this struck me as quite old school. But hey, it's worth it!!
 
I should feel lucky then. I just bought a 2003 4r Limited and it came with both chip+remote keys as well as the grey valet key!
 
Yup, same here! My 2016 Trail came with 2 Remote and one Valet Key! Go back and ask the salesman where in the :censored: is my REMOTE!
