how's the ride now? I was looking into upsizing to 20's as well...and what did you do about the tire pressure monitor system? Did you get new sensors or just live with the light on?

The ride is a little rougher but barely noticable. As far as the tire pressure sensor I'm not going to worry about it. So far it hasn't came on but then again I haven't went on any long trips yet. I thought that I would notice a decrease in mpg but it seems to have stayed the same.

check out my 4runner under 'rav1974' . It has the hood scoop insert. You can order the one for '05 tacoma and it fits perfectly. It would look great on your ride.

somebody please save these innocent 4Runners from those willing to subject them to this cruelty!!!!:bash:

Cruelty??? Those of us with steet 4Runner's take excellent care of our rides and keep them clean as can be 90% of the time, what more could a vehicle ask for than to be taken care of and kept clean?

Cruelty? My 4runner is still a 4runner no matter if I put 20's under it and customize it out or not. Needless to say it is a street runner, but that doesn't mean it isn't trail ready. Heck me and my little bro are planing a trip to go 4wheeling soon and yes I'm taking my 4runner to show up his Jeep. But when I'm not playing in it I like my runner to look sharp and be noticed on the road.

amen to that! It's still a 4runner at the end of the day so thats all that really matters. My biggest deliberation about getting 20's is that TPMS light will bug the heck outta me. And i really dont wanna buy new tire pressure sensors for the aftermarket rims..Decisions Decisions...

Very nice try to drop it a bit or get some body kits but i much prefer lowering the ride for more better steering and performance.

Nice ride! All though I feel 4Runner's should be factory OR lifted, I can appreciate what mods you've put on yours. After all, I am a car guy. I just modded mine out. What you think?

Looks good, but would look a lot better if you got some clear corners & clear signal lenses... just my opinion..

I got them, just don't have pix of them yet. I have pix of the corner, but not the bumpers.

I had some 22" on my Ram like that. Hated them. They were just to sharp for me on a truck with ZERO sharp edges.

i'm sorry but every time i click t his thread, I throw up in my mouth. That looks horrible. It looks like a riced out civic with ebay chrome wheels. I'm sorry but someone had to say it. This truck is not a denali. If your going to upsize your wheels, then get something that looks mean, not something that belongs on a chrysler sebring in alabama.
