Maybe and probably is just me but I can visualize it on the truck from the pics he’s posted
And personally I’m more of a function over form type of guy, so from the bumper description alone it just checks off all the boxes I have in my head of what I would want in a bumper.
And again maybe just me but if I started to add up all the money I’ve dumped into my rigs I’d have to rethink life [emoji23]
But I do it because I like to and I like to support the small business who take the risk and put themselves out there for the 3rd gen community.
So like I said if I have to make a deposit to help him move things along and get his shop moving in the right direction then to me that’s worth it.

This bumper looks incredible, so good that I am debating on pestering you on getting one so I can install it and potentially sell my addicted offroad.
Question: How much of the stock frame(mounting plate) do you cut? The reason I ask is because I cut mine further on purpose for better approach angle(and modified the addicted offroad to accomodate).

Low profile FTW. Even behind the stock bumper, it's a great play!
We are targeting ALL 3rd gen owners, it just won't likely work with the factory 99-02' upper bumper. However anyone with a 99-02 (like myself) can just buy a 96-98 OEM upper bumper or buy our fully fabricated version.
So, YES - this bumper will fit on all 96-02' 4Runners! We will also be clearing all these details up as the process moves further along with diagrams/images.
Thanks a lot for the support and we really appreciate the kind words. I've honestly been so stoked to bring our idea back to the OG 3rd Gen community for feedback. I started here as a newb myself like 10-12 years ago when the forums were way more active. Cool to come full circle with a product offering of our own that has been influenced greatly by the community on here.
Yea, single bolt through the middle. Requires a way smaller hole than other round lights. I also have some cool machined bezels on mine from Desolate Motorsports.

Not yet, but the time will come down the road. We still have a lot of key things to figure out before we do a V2 Prototype run that will go out to people.

This is why the community is so great and we are super stoked on your excitement to support our upcoming venture! Will be stoked when the day comes where we can see one on your truck.
To be fair, I did engage with the community pretty early in the process to get a lot of feedback from the target audience before we got too far down the design rabbit hole. I also own/operate another business that is bursting at the seams. Part of the reason it's been slower moving than it should. However, we've got some cool things happening internally to streamline product development in the coming months.

My truck's frame end is cut per the current Coastal Offroad bumper requirements (pretty much just the thin flap of steel around the perimeter of the frame rail end). As long as all the factory recovery point holes are there, I think it will still work. Although, it will be hard to tuck our bumper back more (like you did with your Addicted) without some decent modification to the cross member. I'll think about it more when I go to build it on my truck and can even fire you some photos when I do.

**UPDATE**
Prototype V1 has landed. Super stoked to get it built up and just to see it in the flesh. Already have a few changes we'd like to make just by seeing it, but super excited as an initial cut. It's soooo simple and will be so easy to fab together. Stoked! Still lots to do though. Again, thank you all for the stoke and excitement. We have lots of things to do as a business and as a product before these officially hit the market, but we will continue to update as things move along.
Keep in mind this is the lower bumper only (our fully redesigned upper bumper that I've shared renderings of, will be coming down the prototype pipeline a little later. ) And now, the teaser until I can get it built. Obviously had to flat-lay the parts as soon as we opened the box:

As someone who doesn’t want to dive into a full on offroad bumper, this looks so ideal! Glad to see someone coming up with a ‘low profile’ option. So excited to see the finished product!

Definitely interested in this! I'm looking to go an OEM+ route with my truck, and this check's pretty much all the boxes I've been looking for and looks like it weighs quite a bit less than most of the other aftermarket bumpers I've seen. Not sure if I missed this somewhere in the thread, but will there be any option to have these pre-welded and will they be shipping to the US? Can't wait to see how the prototype looks once its welded!

Would this work on a 1997? Make sure it can ship to Canada, that’s an issue I’m seeing with a lot of brands.
I feel like this is the bumper I’ve been looking for— nothing too bulky or overstated. I know a good welder too.

Thanks! We will be shipping across North America. No pre-welding at this time but we will definitely be looking at this in the future. We have designed it to have as minimal welding as possible while keeping shipping costs low and lead times also low.

I've started assembling the bumper and as-expected, there is some re-working of a couple of the components that needs to be done. I was away in Austin for the F1 race last weekend (my first race, wow it was insanely awesome!!) but should be putting in some time over the weekend to make some more progress and grab some more photos on the bumper.

Not to be left out, I'll add that I saw Senna, Prost, Mansell, and the rest race on the city-street course in Phoenix in 1991. Montreal in '99. There's nothing like F1 even though I grew up on Can-Am at Laguna Seca seeing 917s, etc.
