Hello fellow forum members,

I am a fellow auto enthusiast and have recently picked up a 1996 Green 4Runner. Well, technically its mine now but my father had it for the last 11 years so its not that new to me, only now in the aspect of the title is mine now. It has 227k Miles on it now and in fantastic shape for the most part (has a little paint fade on the hood). It is a Manual 5 Speed and has The Rear diff lock option. Figured this is a good platform for offroading.

Anyways, I have already removed the sideboards, and tinted the front side windows to match the back and also put some LED bulbs in gauges for a clearer read out. I have just ordered Bilstein 4600s for the front along with the rough country 3" lift kit, a Sonoran panhard bar, diff drop, steering poly bushings. Whats left is to get bumpers and pick out wheels for the 33" tires.

I look forward to researching and seeing other awesome 4wd rides. I would like to start moab trips next year so I want to get the 4runner somewhere decent for that.

Here is where it sits now with nothing installed yet

Jesus. Nice cars! Welcome to the forum! Whats the plan for the 4runner?

Well I ordered all the 3" lift parts and from some research they say that can clear 33" Tires so im going for that build. I do want to find some cheaper nice tube metal bumpers but that seams to be difficult. Everything is $600 plus per bumper. I dont really like the full metal, I like the tub looks so Im researching that now.

Is that picture of yours? That thing looks awesome!

Your taste in cars is awesome

Thank You. I just like the things I grew up dreaming about I guess. Lol Hopefully more to come.
