Just got an email yesturday that my new 4Runner has a VIN number. The dealership doesn't have an exact ETA yet. I am starting to feel more like family here. I learned alot already from all the posts. Here is the run down on my new 4Runner:

2007 V6 SE 4WD
Titanium Metallic
115v AC PP
DRL
Double Decker Cargo System
Side Airbags
Homelink Garage Door Opener
Moonroof
Weight Carrying Tow Hitch
JBL 6-Disc Stereo
and PIO Dual Exhaust

:dancin:

I will post pics when I get my new baby.

I bet you are counting the seconds until you get your new 4Runner! Congrats and post pics when you get the new ride!

Congrats!!! :bigok:

I've been a 4Runner owner for only two weeks and every time I look at it or drive it, it reaffirms that I made the right decision picking one up.

Thank you and I am counting every second. I beat around silver and the galatic gray for awhile, but the lighter color won. I think it is better in the Florida heat.

ProMed, I had to laugh, your statement is so true.

It is coming into Jax port. I will post pics when I take delivery.

:p

congrats

Congrats on the new 4Runner - I too bought an 07 SR5 4WD on 1/27/07. I like it a lot - always liked Toyotas - had a 99 Camry before this and needed something a bit bigger.

Only question I have is that there is a ticking noise coming from left side of the engine when warm. took it to the Toyota dealer who said that is normal (although they could not hear over the racket in the shop). I described it to them but they listed other reasons for it like fuel injectors, new catalytic convereter, severe cold weather. the point that stuck with me is that he does not want to touch an engine that is brand new esp when he does not know for sure there is something wrong with it. besides, he said i have the warranty so if there is a problem it should get worse enough to be more noticeable.

Anyway, from reading the forums, it seems some other people had similar experiences - can one of you guys shed some more light on this?

congrats. you will love your runner. I bought mine and said, ok I will only put a hitch on it.

already have done that and:

Push bar
Dice Ipod Adapter
Sirius Sportster install
Toyota all weather matts
Front windows tinted to match rest of truck

you get sucked in............

Enjoy it! I have not regreted a day owning this great truck!
