new 4runner damage price....

I just received a quote from a dealer that sounded to good to be true. After closer inspection I noticed under the damage description it stated "repaired". Does anyone know how to find out what was damaged and to what extent? I emailed the dealer back asking him(just waiting on a response). The quoted price FYI was $40750 OUT THE DOOR for a 2010 Limited 4WD with Nav and 3rd row seats.

Be sure to get "out the door" well defined. It seems to mean different things to different dealers.

I'd sure want to see complete docs on those repairs - could be trivial, maybe not so...

Can't comment on the price without knowing MSRP.

I did speak with him. He said he was going to find out what was "repaired". The OUT THE DOOR price for him was the sale price then add TTL. I still have a better offer I'm trying to get the details on. The longer I wait the better the deals. Wish me luck!

I would be skeptical. I've seldom seen a really good paint match, and it would tick me off to every day look at my new $40k SUV and see mismatched respray. But that's just me.

Damn my true out the door on my trail including TTL and NAV and KDSS was less then his "sale price", and they didnt include any damage!:D

That's not an OUT THE DOOR price!!!! That's not an any kind of price! It's just the regular sticker price readjusted because of some damage. What kind of BS is this guy feeding you?

A true OUT THE DOOR price includes everything (price of vehicle plus tags, tax, and license) so that this is the total price you pay to drive the vehicle off the lot and OUT THE DOOR!

That's more than I paid on our fully-loaded Limited, true out-the-door pricing including TTL. Damage not included :)

I'm trying to find me a good price. I have been using this site called autobrag.com (pretty cool). I've been receiving prices averaging about 40000k + fees and TTL... I finally had one guy accept my offer of 37500 on Friday--now I don't know what fee they are charging yet until I talk to him. Hopefully there are none and it just a straight TTL fee. If anyone else has a better price for a Limited 4X4 w/3rd row seat + Nav please let me know.
