Just picked up my new 2016 4Runner Trail today. Super happy! This has been 3 years in the making. I had an '03 4Runner and loved it but wanted a newer car and got a '12 outback 3.6R. The outback was a fine car but way too plain vanilla for me. I've been looking for used 4Runners ever since buying the outback (can you say buyers remorse) but the used 4Runner prices are crazy around here. So buying new made the most sense. It is an adjustment to get use to the truck feel vs. the car feel again. But I'm sitting tall in my 4Runner. :thumb3:
Ordered husky mats and looking into running boards for the wife and kids. No need for rock sliders since it's only muddy skidder roads around here. Then I'm thinking new tires (BFGs) and maybe the TRD wheels.
