Really, "owener"? I know grammar on forums usually isn't the best, but at least use spell check.
Look for all things you would on most cars. Have they done all 30k mile check-ups with records. Oil changes, and no signs of wrecks. Does it run well? Make sure all the motors work, windows, etc. Check all the lights, has it been cleaned? I mean there really isn't anything necessary with late 90's toyota trucks over the norm, if well maintained they will last forever. Just make sure its been well maintained.

Guys, it aint the grammar, its the spelling. haha
Some of the things I looked for in addition to maintenance records/history, I looked for leaks, body damage, transmission fluid, oil, all electronics, rear seals, rust, undercarriage, driveability. Basically just give everything a good look/feel. Oh and I also looked/asked for recent radiator replacements. Use the above buyer guide and good common sense and you should be fine.
lol sorry about the spelling issue it was a long day. I'll double check everything next time. thanks for the advice on what to check for, I plan on doing a tune up. including the water pump and pulleys, belts. first thing I'm wanting to do is get tires rims and shocks,coils something a little bit more beefy for playing in the trails. I have about 3 grand just to throw at it right now. any suggestions on tire size, lift, rims, btw it already has the stock 16 inch rims with bf goodwrench.

I just got done reading the sticky that BigFishAllDay posted thanks. a lot of info in there. at least 4 to 6 hundred will be going to maintenance right away just to make sure everything is running in tip top shape, I really don't want to upgrade on bad parts then have something fail lol.
