Well not so new, I've had it for a few 5 months now my 2005. My mods finally came in and should be going in soon. Got them from wheelers offroad. They had good prices but charged me 120 in shipping, gonna have to call them and see what the hell is up with that. Not really planning on making a trail rig but i do alot of moutain climbing in the rockies and some of the drives on the side roads can really suck in winter. Anyone around here do any offroading, i know we have the off road saffari park not to far.

Cool mods, shipping is always a killer around here, especially if it's from the states. That's a good start for gear for sure! Good/cheap local places are Princess Auto and Greg's Distributing (not sure if you have Greg's), that's where I got my gear and it was pretty reasonable pricing.
Myself and Yotaconvert went to Safari Offroad Park a few winters ago. If you check the T4ROTM thread you'll see our post in there somewhere. At the time I had a 3rd gen basically stock and he has a 4th gen stock again. All we had were BFG A/T's and the shackle/recovery strap like you just got. Had a great time, it's a good place to go.
I live in Grande Prairie, some decent trails to the west of here if you're ever in the area I'm always looking for people to go out with. I now have a 04 T4R and an 05 Taco but both are stock.

I got my first strap from princess auto but it snapped on the second run on the first truck I pulled, so I decided to try one from an off road shop.
How difficult were the runs at safari off road park. Might go with a friend who has a Chevrolet z71 stock with just nitto dune grapplers. Also might go with the NA4WDA.
The odd summer time we go up in that area quading, next time I'll give you a shout.

I went overkill on mine, so far so good. Although most pulls I've done with it were pretty light in snow so I haven't overstressed it too far yet. Hope it holds.
Safari had a variety of trails/skill levels. A person could run in there with a fairly stock vehicle, or hit harder trails with something built. It's all up to what you want to do which is cool. We burned up a day just cruising around the different areas.
