I recently bought a 2002 SR5 Sport 4Runner. I wish I wish I would have found this forum before I bought it, everything went smooth (I think) but it would have helped with my research.
I have a few general questions. My 4Runner is a 2002 SR5 Sport, 3400 V6, 4WD, 93K miles and was purchased for $12,750 does that sound like a fair price? I had it checked out, carfax was perfect, the body and interior is in near perfect shape. I think i got a good deal but I don't really know. NADA was around $19k but I don't know if that holds with gas prices like they have been.
Where can i get all the standard specs like inside dimensions, details about that year and model how many gallons of gas does it hold etc., actually as far as the gallons it holds you guys can tell me that I am sure, I filled it up once and put 16 gals in but it was not on dead empty. So far I am a little under half a tank and have gone over 200 miles, does that sound good? I am going to keep an eye on my miles per gallon until I get a good idea of what I am getting. I have also been driving like a little old lady.
This is my first SUV and I love it!!! I really like the size and style of a SUV, I like Toyota's too.
If I understand it correctly the ECT button is for towing or going up steep hills for the most part, is that right?
Thanks for all your help.
