New 4Runner Owner - Questions

First off, I want to say thanks to this forum for giving me the information I needed prior to getting my 4Runner. I've been doing research for a while now.

Yesterday I bought a 1997 Limited. I'm mainly going to use this to tow my light race car to track events. It already had the factory tow package so I just need to get a brake controller and I'm set. I was borrowing a buddies Montero Sport and that made me realize that something like that or the 4Runner are perfect for what I need.

I do have a few question though for the forum:

1. Is there an Owners Manual anywhere online to download or do I have to purchase one?
2. My Limited has a red security light on the dash (left of the steering wheel) which makes me think it has a security system, but I didn't get a key fob with it. How do I check for sure if it does or not or if it should have had a key fob with it?
3. I thought I read that the Limited came with an external Transmission Cooler, but I don't believe mine has one. Let me know if I'm mistaken about it supposed to have one. What aftermarket cooler is recommended?

I'm going to have to amend #3. I crawled under the car and see the lines from the tranny to the radiator. #1 and #2 still stand though....

So does the Radiator have a different core in it for the Transmission Fluid?

I've done some poking around the car and there is definitely a security system in it. I'll try to get the serial number off of it if possible. Does the stock 4Runner security system ECU have Toyota markings? also saw a "To Remote Start" wire coming from it. This makes me think it was an aftermarket unit.

There is no diff in tranny coolers with the Limited and it is a good idea to add one if you plan on stressing the tranny much with towing and such.

I had an external cooler in my 98 Limited. However, if you tow a lot, the stock coolers won't cut it. You will want to go with an aftermarket. A lot of people go with Hayden. Here is a link to a thread:

As far as your alarm, you should have one already installed. Check to see if there is a brain under the dash (which, if you have the light, I'm pretty sure you have it). All you have to do is get a key fob on ebay (~$25) and program it. They all come with instructions on how to program it. Then you're all set to go. My 98 came with the RS3000 alarm system.

You can also pick up a manual on ebay, too. That'd be the cheapest place.
