New 4runner owner

Obviously I'm new here so I wanted to announce my presence :hello:

Any way I have owned several Toyota vehicles ('03 Tacoma & '06 and '07 Tundras) but I picked up the 2010 4runner Trail Edition three weeks ago. All i have to say is that the truck is Bad A**. Very Happy with the purchase. Any way I'll post some pics in the appropriate places and I'll be around the site. First question: Are there any Toyota gatherings similar to the Jeep Jamboree?

Welcome and congrats on your new toy...what color?...please tell me is red!!....:reddance:
 
I had considered the red... It looks great in the pics and vids that i have seen but no, I went with the Silver. I probably would have gotten white but they didn't offer the Trail in that color. I wanted a light color as The Tacoma I had was black and I don't think I'll ever do a dark color again (too high maintenance).
The MSRP was a little over $41K (Nav and KDSS + bs dealer crap like window tint and exhaust tip etc.) but I have to admit I got a REALLY sweet deal (i.e. a fixed amount over invoice). I was later informed by my salesman that he didn't get that price for his fiance's SR5. But when you have bought 4 new cars plus brought in people who have bought 3 new cars all since 2003...the management will work with you.

TE in my area is $39,450 plus tax and delivery destination fees. Me thinks delivery destination fees is a rip off.

Yeah ...my favorite color is White...I hope later on they'll add the White color option for the TE I am interested in getting one . And I was hoping to see a different color of the 5th gen in the forum thats all.

Just been browsing the forums threads and I'm glad to be a part of this awesome forum ... I just bought a used 2007 SR5 - V8 ... I'll post more soon.
