Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a few months and finally made an account. I just bought my Galactic Grey 2005 limited v8 in September.
For the last 9 years I've been driving and wheeling a mildly built XJ. A cross country move made me decide to sell it and move on. I briefly owned a 95 SR5 with over 220k miles before I bought the 05.
I wanted something that I could take on long trips reliably so I started shopping for a UZJ100. Everything in my price range just had too many miles or was too beat up. Then I stumbled upon a Craigslist ad for a 4th gen with a 4.7 v8. I had no idea the 4runner ever came with the 2uz-fe. I went and looked at it the next day, 3 days later it was mine!
I've already installed 5100s and rear spacers. Thanks for all the information!
