Im looking for a 3/4 rack that will replace my factory rails. I am trying to find something that I can use to haul cargo when needed but also has crossbars that I can connect my Yakima SUPDawg to to hold my surfboard.
I've been eyeing the Victory 4x4 factory rail length rack. Has anyone used this along with the Yakima attachments?

I just installed mine, and didnt see in the install video how much or how exactly to cut that front most rain gutter plastic trim piece.

Now i just cut it around the front feet but cant really get that trim piece that butts up to the windshield to go in securely and stay in place.
did anyone else have this issue? if so how did you get it to stick?

I removed the factory tape and used 3M double sided tape. Holding great

Looks great. How are you routing your roof lights' wires? Also, could you post pics of the C4? ladder clearance to the rack's rear fairing when the hatch is open please?

For the lights I ran the positive down the groove in the windshield edging on each side with black silicon. Worked great, you can’t even tell. For the ground I just used the rack, under one of the fairing nuts. I used the Baja connectors to be able to pull the rack if needed. Nice and tidy.

While clearance to the ladder is not an issue the clearance from the rear fairing to the roof is. I had to slot the side rails to get the fairing up enough, I really didn’t want to use the edging and have to add clear mask. Plus I didn’t want a dirt dam. Even slotted I only have about 1/8th clearance. The bends in the end of the rear fairing are not 90 degrees so as you tighten the fasteners it draws it closer to the roof. Really no big deal, I did it after install. Though I do think Victory should do a design tweak to fix this.

Installed the 3/4 rack yesterday.

The good:
- Was packaged well.
- Powder coating overall was well done.
- Assembly was easy and straight forward. * If you watch the install video they use the full-length rack for the install. For 3/4 rack you should absolutely not install the front panel on the rack as instructed prior to placing it on the top. I had to remove it in order to get better access to the mounting bolts which secure the front rack mounts to the vehicle.
- Seems very strong and secure on top of the 4R.

The not-so-good:
- There was a couple of tiny spots where it looks like the powder coating was rubbed off due to handling prior to shipment.
- There was 2 scratches on the front valance piece - for a brand new item, I would expect not to see them upon receipt.

Have only driven the past day but at speeds up to ~65MPH there is no noticeable wind noise. Perhaps since it's 3/4 length and not full and the front panel is behind me, but even with the windows down I didn't notice any change from factory rails. No squeaks or rattles, etc.

This looks awesome! Gives me a good idea of what it will look like on mine. How is the rack holding up? Any wind noise when the moon roof is open?

So far, so good. Finish holding up well so far, but the black bolts I opted for are starting to fade - Not a big deal. Have used the rack with a cargo box multiple times, but not yet with a kayak or anything else. Wind noise has not been noticeable to me, even with moonroof open. But if my roof is open, I normally have all the windows open, so..... lol

Still happy with it overall.

Cargo box on victory 4x4 rack

I honestly haven't noticed much at all, up to 80.
Now, I just drove 350 miles yesterday with much of it at 70-80MPH with the cargo box on top and I DID hear that. lol
But it did well on the rack.

How did you attach the Thule box to your victory rack. I just ordered the same length rack from them And curious how to attach the cargo box

How did you attach the Thule box to your victory rack. I just ordered the same length rack from them And curious how to attach the cargo box

The Thule has clamping 'claws' with a rubberized coating where it is secured to rails. It fits on the rectangular cross rails of the rack, just need to adjust each attaching claw when clamping it down to ensure it's gripping the rail as much and as tightly as possible. Don't be afraid to tighten it well, or else the box can shift in travel. Get it tight enough and it won't move. And you need to play around with the front/back positioning of the box to ensure clearance for the lift gate as well as XM antenna. I can get the box positioned and clamped down in just a few mins.

The roof rack mounts are slotted vertically about 3/8" so there is some clearance adjustability.

What are current lead times looking like?

Their website has a place to check on lead times for products. I order the standard size rack and it said 2-3 weeks lead time. So far it has been 2 weeks since I order. I haven’t received any updates on shipping but there is still a week before I start checking in with them.
