New 5th gen T4R owner from DFW

Hi everyone,

This is a great forum you guys have.

As of last Tuesday I am the owner of a 2018 TRD off road Premium 4Runner. So far I am loving it! A bit of my vehicle history includes a 2006 Scion tC, which was my first new car. From there I went American muscle with a 2012 Dodge Charger R/T, which sadly got totaled. Most recently I owned a 2014 Lexus IS 350 F Sport. It was a fine vehicle, however as family grew I was in need of more cargo space for the endless amount of baseballs/soccer/footballs the kid seems to have. The 4 runner, while much larger than what I have been used to driving, fit that bill perfectly. Although I must admit that it has taken me a bit of getting used to the drive.

I look forward to being a part of this forum. It’s already given me the mod bug big time (which the wife might not be too happy about!). I already purchased an hid kit and led dog lights from a site sponsor, Xenon Depot. I can’t wait for it to arrive and install it!

Very nice looking, congrats! Getting my TRD ORP in mid January, mag grey. Think I might need TRD pro wheels after seeing yours. :thumb:

DO IT!! In my opinion it looks much sharper with the black trd wheels than with the standard gray ones.

Want to see if I can get a deal on them if the dealer keeps the stockers, probably not though. Also thinking about the matte grey version, but not sure if they're dark enough or if black would be the way to go. It does look real sharp with your setup.
 
So rad! I’m picking up my 2018 magnetic grey off road premium with KDSS on Wednesday! I had the dealer put on the Black TRD wheels as well.
I’m in North Dallas. Can’t wait!!!

Have you gotten your lights in yet? I am about to make the same purchase. What camera are you using, pictures looks great!

Yes sir, I got them in and put in a week or so ago. They are way brighter than stock!

Thanks for the compliment, just used the iPhone 7+ cam. Nothing fancy.

what did you use to block out the trd off road emblems on the side? I’m trying to decide if I wanna keep them on there.
