New 99 Limited- Already a few problems; help appreciated

Hello-


I just bought a 99 Limited edition, and I love it except for a few "small" problems.

The auto-climate control doesn't turn off (the fan button, and a few other buttons don't light, or even work at all for that matter). The mode button doesn't do a thing.

The only control on the climate control that works is the temperature knob, and fan speed control. It's stuck on vent mode (no defrost). Only the AC light glows, nothing else. The LCD displays fine though.

Could it be a fuse issue, or will I have to replace the unit for some outrageous price? I know she had it jumped before I looked at it, and I'm wondering if something got fried.

Also, I don't have a hitch installed, and it looks funny when driving behind it (the spare tire looks too obvious), any suggestions of what can be put back there? Is there a lower bumper possibly missing, or is the spare always that obvious?

Without the hitch the spare is that obvious.

I would invest in a hitch. They can be quite helpful.

You aren't missing part of the bumper.

you got a limited with no hitch? did someone pull it off? yes get a hitch if you bike or camp got a boat? I use a hitch platform for my extra camping gear and the daughters mini quad.It also works great for slamming you leg into don't act like you all haven't done too. as far as your climate controls there done find a bone yard or somebody parting a runner out on craigslist you might be able to buy both parts for a reasonable price craigslist is great. good luck
