Hello! A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to pick up my 2000 SR5 4WD. I'm located near Chandler, AZ and am looking forward to hanging around this forum.
A quick bit about me:
I have been an automotive tech for a few years, but recently changed my career path after deciding to go back to school. This is my first 4Runner, but not my first Toyota. For the last several years I have been involved with a couple different Supra forums and owner groups both local and larger.
Before joining today, I have been stealing and stockpiling as much information from this site as possible and really hope that I can provide something in return eventually.
After realizing that I have practically no photos of any of my previous vehicles, I have been trying to force myself to at least take a few pictures of this thing. Things have been hectic as we just moved in to our new house, but I managed to snap a few cell phone shots.
Probably the first picture I took of the truck
Another angle. Had the 4Runner moved back while I did some maintenance on the girlfriend's Corolla.
No more running boards. I wasn't really a fan of the look...and the passenger side board was bent and looked weird.
