New at tires needed, good price & what do you recomend?

1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited SUV - Windsor Region Cars For Sale - Kijiji Windsor Region Canada.

That's the T4R I'm about to purchase. Nedds a few things to pass a safety. Tires are the first thing.

It will also need a new acuator (not for safety),inner sway bar bushings and body mounts.

The new cost is $5000 as is.

What type of result are you looking for in a tire? The best street tire? Mixed use? Best mpg? Etc etc.

i'm asking for recomendations for tires. I'm in Southern Ontario where we do get snow but not all that much. I'd like a tire that fits my stock rim, good on the road & in snow. i'd like the 4R to sit a bit higher too.

You can go up to a 265/75/16.

For a mainly on road tire I would say Michelin LTX. For a little more aggressive tire, look at the Bridgestone Revo 2 or Nitto Terra Grappler.

If you want an aggressive tire that has good road manners look at the Goodyear DuraTrac.

Personally I'm partial to the BFG AT's. I think they perform the best on all surfaces while having a great tread life.

I'm going with the BFG AT KO's. I like the way the look & they have very good reviews from what i have red already
