new bumper action

well... this week was interesting.

I went and got Pikeman's old bumper from his buddy Donn.

On the way home, i was driving through anaheim and my left front tire decided to explode randomly...

drove home on a rickety old petrified spare until the new one tomorrow.

wish I could use this as an excuse to get a new set of tires but I am getting the new one for only 30 bucks.

its a 30x9.5x15.... does not work well with 265/70/16s well haha

Well I am glad it looks so good on your truck. I am glad that something I no longer had use for was put to use by a fellow site member. One of the few that showed up to the So Cal pizza night I planned.

Not sure how true this is......

But I thought you shouldnt mount your spare on the front. It should only be mounted on the back.

Is there any truth to this?

Not recomended to mount in front if of different size as in this case because it affects steering especially under breaking. Not recomended on the back axle if you have a full time locker if it is of different size due to not allowing the diffferentiation required for smaller diameter and during turning. If the locker is selectable or there is not one then the rear is preffered.
