new bumper installed

I have my 15 TE back from the body shop, after hitting a deer in mid-November, with the Schrockworks bumper installed(pictures soon). How long does it take to do a bumper install? How did you pay to have it installed? What are my choices to fix front end sag. I have quite a bit of time doing searches on these questions and did not have much luck getting answers. Thanks for any help on these questions.

You will need springs to put the front end back where you want it. If you intend on other weight, like a 2nd battery or a winch, now may be the time.

I would ask shrockworks what to expect and what they recommend.

thanks I will call them on monday. I think the price i was charged by the body shop was excessive. I did not get an estimate because it was part of the repair from hitting a deer. They did do a very good job on the repair.

Regarding charges for fitting the bumper, I think that should have been covered by insurance.

I had an accident a several years ago and I asked the body shop to fit an ARB and not a new factory bumper. The time to install both is roughly the same, however the ARB was cheaper than the OEM bumper parts, so in the end I got my 4Runner back with an ARB bumper and a $100+ check from the body shop for the bumper price difference. Win win!

Convinced the repair shop to give $300 back since they did not have to paint the bumper. they charge me 15 hours shop time for the installation, but that included mounting the winch and they did a very nice job. They did not wire the winch and now I am planning to do that and figure out the best way to raise the front end back up. When it warms up a little.

I am in the market for a new bumper for a '15 Limited. I have the OEM version with chrome. The existing one I have is falling off due to some weak pins on the underside breaking for reasons I don't understand (has 4800 miles on it, didn't hit anything). Dealer wants me to pay for everything. If I do, I don't want to replace with the same piece of garbage if a more durable option is available. Can someone direct me to a link of options? And, will a local body shop install too? I don't really trust the Dealer body shop right now - I think they're trying to pull one on me and not honor this as a defect.
