New Bumper or Lift kit first?

I am looking to order a new bumper for the front which will add about 80lbs to my SR5. Would spacers be sufficient for the suspension, or would a 3" Lift kit be needed?

Do the lift kit. You will regret doing it the other way.

you probably want stiffer coils rather than spacers. At that rate, get a coilover lift kit with HD coils and sit on them until you get your bumper. install them at the same time. If you install the coilover lift in advance, its going to ride very rough without the extra weight in front.

Like the others have said, lift/stiffer coils first. Adding that much sprung weight in front of the axle will cause the front end to sag which will in turn degrade the overall damping ability of the shocks and likely degrade the handling characteristics of the vehicle.

What's your end goal? Why do you need a winch? Just trying to figure out what your wheeling style is .

Calculate the weight of all the accessories you're looking to add, then get your suspension ordered with coils adequate for the gear weight and lift height you're after. There's lots of ways to skin a cat but only one way to chop an onion.. this would be my recommendation.

I think JSparky has it right. Figure your end goal - whether just a simple lift, or a lift with added weight capacity, or both - and figure from there. That's the track I'm on. I want to add the weight of bumpers, skida, roof rack, etc., and cargo, plus a couple inches of lift. Now i need to figure out what that means in regards to spring rates and struts... <sigh> nothing's ever easy...

As said, proper suspension choice by end goals would be my way ahead.

With a new suspension, I wouldn't worry about front coilover stiffness before the bumper install especially if you choose coilovers with dampening adjustments and the rear springs are easily upgraded as weight progresses.
