New bumper

Hello, I am looking to get a new bumper for my 4runner. My budget is kind of tight and I was seeing if you guys had any suggestions on something better then the stock 2000 limited bumper. I think the front lip on it is uglier then hell lol. Also possibly to save some money has anyone put any aftermarket lights on that same bumper to make it look any better?

I hate my bumper too. I have often wondered if anyone has ever tried to put an earlier model bumper on.

I you can try to get a 96-98 front bumper that is primed, than you can color match it and that looks so much better than any bumper offered by toyota, because they didnt offer the 96-98 in the US to be color keyed, Canada had it though. And yes it will fit, but i think you have to remove a bracket for the retrofit, there are some thread on YT about it.

Hmm maybe I will look into getting one of those then.. I think I saw someone on these forums that had taken their front licence plate out and put some lights in there and it made the bumper not look quite so shitty lol.
