Hey guys. You might remember me as the op in the arb/shrock thread with the infamous tube vs plate thermonuclear war. I considered asking for a plate vs tube poll for my rear bumper, but chose the higher road. lol.
So anyways the point of my post here, i just installed a new CBI rear bumper yall should have a look at.
First off i have to point out that when i ordered from nathan at cbi, i was wrongly (my fault) under the impression that the black plastic flares i have are standard for sport flares, so i told nathan i had the sport flares when he took my order. Come to find out the sport flares are the same as the ltd flares so the lines on the bumper, rather the lines on my ride are a little off. this is totally my fault. i suspect an easy fix is either go with some limited flares or maybe some bushwackers or something.
Either way i wont be doing ANYthing anytime soon as today i lost my job of 15 years. I know, bittersweet isnt it? I just hope i wont be one of the poor guys on here selling their rig out of necessity, god bless them. you can quote me when i say i will be living in, on, or adjacent to my baby before i ever sell her.
so again, my ignorance, my fault on the flares. that said, this bumper is an absolute and beautiful work of art. I could not be happier with it. I still have some things to finish and tidy up, like wiring the lights and such, but here she is in all of her glory.
I ordered the standard rear with swing away, hi lift mount, double jerry can holder, exhaust port, folding table, light buckets, and work light, and powder coat for all.
Again i could not be happier, this ass armor is something else. If any of you are thinking or rear bumper options you should check them out, Nathan was very patient and helpful, even as i made last minute changes. They communicated well, and turnaround time was very reasonable, about 3 weeks from order to delivery i think +/-. Quality is top notch and i cannot wait to put some use to her.
so enjoy my crappy pics (sorry)
