No more Leaks on the Driveway. Buddy is a Toyota Tech and dropped the T-case last night at his place and he took it in to Split it Open and change it out today. Put it back in Tonight. Saved a Lot of $ on Part and Labor.

Thanks for posting that pic of transfer case split open. Great info.

I'm sure there is a bit more to it, but it looks like the hardest part is removing the transfer case from vehicle and re-installing it as I don't see a plethora of parts scattered all over that work bench.

All Done. Actuator Shifts awesome. greased drive shaft. New Drivers Door Lock Actuator. That just started acting up a few days ago so fixed that. Some New Clips in the Fender Flairs on the rear doors. Props to my Buddy Justin 4 Busting Ass to get it Finished.

Thanks for the pics!

Someone needs to do a DIY write up on this procedure!

The 4th gen 4runner is 12 years old now and I'm surprised there is no DIY write up properly replacing the actuator yet!

Wish I could have got more pics of this process but he was really busy with his normal jobs and doing this in between those at Work. Glad it's Done.
