The feel of this new clutch is soft and nothing like my previous two clutches. I've been told the cam over points and springs have been changed for a softer feel on the clutch pedal. In my opinion, it feels horrible.
The local Toyota dealer claims all replacement clutches have this issue / new design characteristic.
I would like the feel of my old clutch back. Is there a replacement clutch available with the old style firmer push on the pedal experience?
Anyone want to sell me an old pressure plate, maybe I can rebuild an old clutch. My old one was gone before I realized the difficulty is locating an old style clutch assembly.
