New color on 2006

While driving to an art festival this past weekend, we pulled into a Toyota dealership to see if they had any 2006's yet. There was just one, in "Shadow Mica". Wow....I love the color! Even my wife (who is not that keen on me getting a 4Runner) said, "That's a beautiful truck".

You have to be kidding me!!! That is the one color I wished they made the 4Runner in when I bought my 05. I love the dark gray.... but had to settle with the titanium color (lt. gray) since dark gray didn't exist.

Almost worth trading in my 05 for .....

Uh isn't Galactic Grey dark grey

No --- that has a blue-ish tint to it. I hate the color blue ....

There are pictures of a shadow mica 4Runner shown in the official 06 Limited pic thread by tkr128. I am trying to decide between the shadow mica and the Galactic Grey. Both color are very nice and somewhat similar. The shadow mica is darker and might be harder to keep clean. I am leaning toward the Galactic Grey.

Nautical Blue is also a new color for 2006 replacing Stratosphere Mica. BUT....it is not available on the Sport Edition, only on SR5 and Limited.

Besides both being shades of gray, I don't think they are very similar. Have you seen the Shadow Mica in person? You might change your mind when you see it.
I liked the Galactic Gray when I saw it online, but thought it was too light and too flat when I saw it person.

It's great that Toyota is giving customers a choice of two different grays. I love gray on vehicles, especially very dark gray.

Must be true. I got a few tickets when I drove a red car. I've never had a speeding ticket driving my gray car.
