New Custom Bumpers!!!

After pining for a set of custom bumpers for my truck for months, I finally found a local fabricator that was willing to do a set for relatively cheap. I had checked with a few others and they wanted an arm and a leg to do them. Anyhow onto the pics.

Those actually look really good. Better than a lot of the others ones I have seen. The lines are so clean and it looks almost like a factory finish.

The only thing I don't like is the hitch. That isn't 2" is it?

i really like those. they turned out really good. im still trying to deceide what to do for the rear of mine. the stock one has takin a beating hehe. just added another nice scratch on it yesterday from a metal fence post i was trying so hard to get through this gate with out scrapping but it was with no hope i had to scratch it was some sick nasty soupy mud up this canyon haha.

Looks good but you are going to hate yourself if you take that thing wheeling. The lack of a sufficient gap between bumpers and body are going to spell instant trouble for any aggrivation those bumpers experience. If you have the resources available I would modify the brackets to bring the bumpers down at least a half an inch. Just my two cents though, either way looks great

i agree, ive got the gap ive heard about needing it with arbs and what not.

Yeh that was one of the first things I noticed. I'll play with it tmw and see if I cen make the gap a little bigger.

Hey man looking back the oem lugs that worked with your previous wheels are not applicable with the landcruiser rims. you will either need to secure a factory set of cruiser lugs or i believe aftermarket acorns at your local tire shop should do it. the shanked lugs do not securely tighten and running them is a considerable risk.

There were 2 styles of lancruiser wheels the 93 and 94's used the shank style lug nuts. And the 95+ used the acorn style nuts. I have the older shank style wheels. They've been on there over a year and secure perfect. With the acorn nut wheels the shank lugs wouldn't even go all the way on. Good looking out though.

I like them a lot, they seem to have a perfect fit. Only thing I don't really like are the amber lenses, I'm more of a clear fan.

BADASS!!! i saw an add on my local CL for a local fabricator, and ive just been looking for someones bumpers that i like. i just emailed him this link, hopefully he'll send me a price soon. i may be doing that this summer.

He's willing to make more of them. Not sure if he's going to want to ship them though. I'm not sure what's involved in shipping a bumper but i might be able to help you with that depending.
