So as I look at my chrome bumpers me thinks "How do I get paint to stick?" Any tips? I have tried to paint on chrome before, the reults were lots of flaking.

some people have said to ryno line it but to me I think the texture makes it look terrible. Im actually doing this pretty soon but, have it powder coated. I dont know if powder coating comes in other colors but.... primer will actually stick to it unlike chrome. The price quotes I got from a bumper shop here in Denver where, $50 for the front bumper piece, $30 for the side pieces on the back bumper and $90 for the center piece of the back bumper. The quotes were already in his computer apparently and even he didnt know why the center piece of the back bumper was so much more expensive so he's doing it for $50. So grand total is $130 to have all the crome powder coated, $170 if the guy is unforgiving lol. Luckily my runner is black so I dont have to paint it.
