New engine, lift and tires

In another thread of mine I talked about how my 3VZE being severely overheated. I put in a new radiator and did my headgaskets only to have a knock in the engine after I got it running.
I am having a buddy put in a rebuilt 3VZE at his shop because I am too damned lazy to mess with it myself... lol. As soon as I get a few miles on the new engine, I have a lift and tires waiting to be installed at home.
I now have way more in this vehicle than it's worth so I will just keep it for another 200k miles or so.

Not yet... As soon as I get the it back from having the engine done, I will get the lift and tires on. I guess I am just excited to have a "new lease on life" for the 4runner. Will post pics when done.

Update:

I have the 4Runner back on the road and I put the 2" lift on it yesterday. The tires are 33"x 12.50's on 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspacing.
Here are some before and after pics...

My kit came with 2" ball joint spacers for the front, 2" Old man Emu rear coils springs and a set of Pro Comp 3000 shocks.
I ordered it from Fat Bobs Garage.

Thanks!.. I just got it back from having the front end aligned. Drives much better! No more shimmy in the steering wheel and the camber is set correct now.

It was $409.70 with the diff drop kit option and ES3000 shocks but I didn't install the diff drop kit.

Runner looks great. I've had my 95 for about 6 months now. Bought it with some problems I've been fixing. Had to replace the front rotors, CV shafts, did the bearings wile I was there. Anyways, I've been digging around because I want 33's on it. Its a daily driver/family/camping/fun rig so, I don't want to get too crazy with lifts tires etc. Yours is the first post I've come across with 33's without a 4in lift or a body lift. So, how do you like the 2in lift from 4x4.fatbobsgarage.com? do you get any rubbing? did you have to make any mods to the wheel wells to accommodate the 33's?

I'm like, 99% sure I'm going to get that lift. I will be getting the dif drop just to make it easyer on my CV's. Long term goals are a LM4 + 700r4 swap, 2" lift, Detroit EZ lockers, skid plates, and bumpers. Due to having a family, bills etc, I'm gussing it will take me about 5 years to get it all done. But, building it is half the fun

anyways, any insite/advise you have about your 2" lift would be awesome
