Does anyone know how a new engine is run at the factory or is all the break in done by the customer? Its just my opinion that the first few miles are very important.
My Svc Mgr told me new engines are run in at the factory on a platform designed for this. And, that they use special oil, which is drained after the run-in, and replaced with syn.
