New exhaust for Turbo

looking for opinions on a new exhaust, what i have is 1987 turbo 4runner that needs a new exhaust. i would like to increase the exhaust pipe to a larger size maybe 21/2 tubing also install a turbo style muffler. dont know if this affect the low end torque. all advice will be considered.

With a stock 22RTE 2 1/2" tubing is perfect. You will not loose low end torque as turbos need to breathe, back pressure sucks with boost.
