ive been hearing some noises that sound exhaust related as far as rattles, leaks, etc. my bolts on the exhaust stuff now are pretty rusted and I don't think im gonna be able to torque them down anymore to solve the leak issue. was looking at getting a new exhaust but not sure what to get. any suggestions on something that's close to stock sound but deeper? just want it to perform at its best. not really interested in being loud.

Thanks in advance.

ps.... i have bad 02 sensors and cat's are prob shot i take it. any thoughts on the cat siuation? permanent removal? what about the O2 sensors if i remove the cat's?

I'd just take it in to a muffler shop and have them put on a Magnaflow 18" or 24", both are very popular and not much louder than stock. The shorter the muffler the louder it is generally. I'm sure they can also check out your cat & o2 sensor.

Ok you're going to need a couple things.
1. A beer for a buddy
2. Said buddy
3. Can of seafoam

We all know seafoam makes ****tons of smoke, whether people think it works or not. Grab the brake booster line ( the line going into the big drum on the driver's side.) and plug it with ur finger. Start the engine and uplug the hose, and place the hose in the can. It will start suckign up the seafoam. Use your other hand to get on the throtle a little, and have your buddy look under the car for any leaks of white puffy smoke. If its only coming from the tailpipe, then you're all good :trophy:

that is crazy. i hope it works.

It's not crazy at all. Seafood should actually help your engine by breaking excess carbon off of your cylinder walls and pistons.
