New exhaust setup help.. 93' 3.0

Hello, im looking to upgrade my exhaust system on my 1993 V6 Auto but i don't know too much on what to be looking for. I would like the get the increase in power and gas mileage that I have been reading about around the boards.. (i know its not much) I don't need it to be too loud but I want to definatley tell it is there and to make the truck sound faster!! Im guessing it will cost around a few hundred dollars for everyting??? If someone can give me a direction on what to be looking for and maybe some links or prices......

i had my complete cat-back replaced with a higher performance muffler for $250 CAD, so it would be even cheaper for you. that was at a muffler shop, so thats parts and labour. are you looking for a kit to do yourself or taking it to a shop? for mufflers i hear alot of people like the magnaflow, or Borla has a complete system you could to do yourself: http://www.yotatech.com/~corey/tech/joey_borla/joey_borla.htm

I was thinking I would take it to a shop and have them do it but that guy in the link made things look pretty easy, I will still probably take it to someone. here's a link someone gave me to a Borla that would probably work:

ya im sure that would work, but in my opinion, if you are going to do it yourself, get the borla (or some other complete setup). if you have a shop do it, just talk to the rep and discuss what they can offer in terms of mufflers etc.

Just don't go bigger than 2.5" period or you'll kill your low end.
