I’ve done cat backs before and I wanted to retain stock piping and resonator and keep it looking stock. I’ve read way to many reviews stating annoying drone with the typical magnaflows welded in with resonator delete. Just muffler.

Good to know, I actually picked up a Magnaflow 12256 just haven't got it installed here in the Valley yet. Called one of the master mufflers in Draper and quoted me $350 just to weld it in and take the pipe out the side  but really liking the sound of yours.

Hey Saltcity T4r! cool to see another member so close to home. I have always done cat backs with 18 inch cases in Midvale master muffler. 3-4 Setups on previous 4runners and tundra/titans. I was a bit more hesitant with this install with all the hype about annoying drone. Last time I called them they wanted 350-450. I had heard great things about Provo store. They are considerably cheaper. I paid $250 out the door with 80.00 tip. 20 minute install and very clean job. They let me here 5-6 different setups before welding in. I’m sure your muffler will sound great. I tried a 14 inch case and it didn’t do it for me. Before you have it welded in if you want to check mine out I’d be glad to meet up I’m in the valley quite often. Once you here it in person you’ll be hooked!

It’s a magnaflow bullet muffler. Resonator in still. No drone. Amazing deep sound rpms ramping up. Still quiets down once up to speed but still sounds aggressive,
