My comment was saying why would you spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on making your car "look" cool but not take care of it to make it last. Unless making it smoke is part of looking cool??

Only way they can get away with that look is if they paint the HVAC vents in the dash and the door handles neon as well.

When I was in high school I didn't have to worry about either since I didn't even have a car.

When I did get a car "unfortunately" it was given to me and I didn't take care of it. I say "unfortunately" because if I would have paid for it I would have taken care of it, but it was a good lesson looking back on it now.
