New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

I came across some C ply 285s....are they real or mythical like a unicorn? Falken doesnt even show them as an option on their website.

Reached out to tire buyer and they showed me the way. Apparently they are OEM for the new Jeep Gladiator in that size.

I posted a pic of the gladiator recently in this thread showing the C load so I’m not surprised they came to market. Thank god! C is perfect for our rigs but 61lbs?!?!? What in the serious hell?

Anyone see any deals? I'll be ordering this weekend. Currently leaning towards 275/70r17 to get C load range, but bouncing back and forth with stock 265/70r17 SL.

The Jeep is my main off-road toy, but the 4R gets some action. Next month we will be driving from TX to Canada, and stopping in Moab. It has also done BBP/Imogene Pass and a few others.

The same size E load Falken is 59 lbs so it’s fully plausible since the Falkens run heavy except in SL flare.

I have 45,000 miles now on my 265/70r17 SL A/T3Ws, and they are still doing great. We just got back from Moab last month, and they performed perfectly...

ATW3's run big for their size and are indeed larger then KO2's in the same size

Tire buyer shows the 285/70/17 available in the AT3W and the MT01 in a C load range.

Tiresize doesnt list the weight for the c load but it is part of the shallower tread depth wildpeak 13/32 vs 18/32 for the e load
