My name is Mike.
I am not currently a 4Runner owner but I am joining because over the next year I would like to find and buy a 4Runner and build it up for an off road/hunting rig.
I recently bought a new Tacoma and moved forward only to learn I should have done things a little differently. Which is why I am joining now, to learn as much as I can and hopefully plan my build ahead of time and learn the do's and do not's for building up a 4Runner.
I am most likely going with a 3rd gen hopefully 99-00 with E/lock if I can find one. From what I have already learned there are some things to pay attention to similar to a Tacoma, like 3" max or you need UCA's and a whole different rear suspension set up to learn about.

Any quick advice and extra's to think about when lifting that you could quickly drop me here would be apreciated
