New from TX awaiting 4runner

Hello all
I Live in TX but from the amazing CO. I have been looking for a runner for years and finally my friends Dad has a 1997 SR5 that he wants to sell to me for 4500. I will be looking at it this week and hope it's worth it.

GOT IT!! It is some what rough with a oxidation on the hood but it runs great!

What part of CO did you come from and where in TX are you now?

I came from the Denver area in CO and now I am in Fort Worth, TX and Just drove my 4Runner to work and it works great. He said he was told the torque converter was bad but I feel no symptoms but will keep an eye out for them. I want to take her out and hit some trails or something asap!

Ha..When they hit? Already way past that. I want to go wheeling every time I get in it. I want to do some light mods like bumpers, lights, and tint right now. Its a 2wd so not sure how much I want to do to it if its not the full 4wd

Sadly enough I have sold my 4 runner. I needed room in the driveway for my other projects so this had to go. But on the look out for a 4wd manual so I will still be on here. I also still want to go wheeling if anybody has extra seats.
