Hello all! My name is Macallen Coats and Im from Upstate NY. I got my first 4runner this spring! I've been lurking for a couple weeks and finally made this my home! I had bought a brand new 2008 Jeep wrangler rubicon, all the bells and whistles, everything I wanted and my 2nd wrangler. So to say I was a jeep guy, well, yea that would sum things up pretty well. Tons of great times in those two trucks, incredible the places they took me and brought me back. Then I grew up. I realized I needed 4 doors, yea they make a 4 door rubi but I will never own a 4 door jeep. I realized I needed a trunk, no jeeps have trunks. I realized I needed something with some road manors on the highway, short wheel base had to go. I needed something with some power behind the pedal. I know what I was buying when I bought the wrangler but I now know it wasnt what I needed. So this spring I traded in the jeep and bought myself a 2006 4runner SR5 v6 with 33k. After a couple months of ownership I can honestly couldnt be happier with the switch. It has everything I could ask for except for two things: a ragtop for the summer, and the inability to turn off traction control. But still minor issues when looking at the long list of dislikes I had for the Jeep. I hope to settle in here nicely and learn a ton from all you folks!
