When are y'all going to have a model vehicle for the tube-less version?

I have absolutely zero justification for a metal bumper, but y'all have done an awesome job making something unique and I look forward to seeing more pictures. I just hate tubes on steel bumpers, so I'm curious what the tubeless looks like.

Plan on having one to install tomorrow for photos.

Airbags use inertial sensors so the bumper won't interfere, but they have not been airbag tested. ARB is the only one who has tested each models airbag I believe.

Not quite right. The first gen bags were a "hit a sensor and it deploys" type of system. Modern systems make millions of calculations following an accident (and in some cases even before an accident) to answer one question "if I deploy, will injuries be reduced or eliminated?"

The calculations include severity of impact, angle of impact, seat position, height of impact etc.

Aftermarket bumpers will impact those calculations and may lead to an improper airbag activation - or not.

Actually, it doesn't appear that ARB actually crash tested anything - IIRC (I can't check their website right now as they are being reported by Firefox as having security issues), ARB said that they evaluated crash tests - perhaps implying that they crash tested - but I see no evidence that they did.

Unfortunately, it'll take an accident (and the resulting legal battles) to sort out liability in the aftermarket field.
